Beth Giovenco, RN, BSN, IBCLC (Lactation Consultant)

Beth graduated with a BSN from Cedar Crest College in 1989. She has spent every one of those 35 years working with moms and babies. Beth has loved every minute of her journey, but the last 24 years as a board-certified lactation consultant have been the most fulfilling. One of the best parts of those years was creating Monday Morning Moms, one of the first weekly breastfeeding support groups in the Lehigh Valley. Beth has also proudly been part of LVHN’s journey to becoming the only baby-friendly hospital in the Lehigh Valley. They were just certified for the 3rd time!

When Beth is not at work, you will likely find her watching a baseball game. Her boys have played baseball since they were pre-schoolers, and she is a lifelong Phillies fan! Ryan, age 25, graduated from Haverford College, where he played baseball and majored in biology, and UPenn, where he completed his master’s in biomedical engineering. He works as a Research Lab Specialist at CHOP. He lives in Philadelphia and is an assistant coach for Haverford’s baseball team in his spare time. Jack is 21 and attends Fairleigh Dickinson University, playing baseball and majoring in computer science. Now that Beth and her husband, Chris, are empty nesters, they plan on traveling in their Jeep Wrangler with their beloved chocolate lab, Gracie. They love the beach, reading, and finding fun restaurants with sunset views. Special congrats to Beth and Chris. They celebrated 25 years together and renewed their vows on the beach in Oahu, HI.
